Arsenal continues to roll, posting second straight shutout.

ATTLEBORO – Arsenal Hockey has been on a roll from the start of the 2023 Chowder Cup. The have now posted three straight College Open victories – the second two shutout victories – following their 10-0 wallop of the East Coast Prospects on Saturday at New England Sports Village.

The Arsenal offense has found a Chowder Cup groove, having scored a total of 26 goals across their three games after posting three in the first and seven in the second in defeating Prospects.

Hunter Coley paced the Arsenal goal scorers in this one with a hattrick, while Avery McNamara finished as the high point getter with two goals and two assists.

Joshua Cleary (1G, 1A), Brody Vachon (1G, 1A), Connor Chartrand (2A) and Matthew Patry (2A) all also had multiple points in the Arsenal victory.

It was also another win for netminder Dante Bertolin, who has defended the Arsenal goal net for each of the team’s games thus far in the tournament, giving up just four goals in that span.
