Crows hang 10 in their perfect prelim finale.

FOXBORO – The New England Crows ran their preliminary round record to a perfect 3-0-0 in the 2024 Chowder Cup’s Elite division on Saturday evening. They did so by defeating Performance Hockey Group 10-6 at the Foxboro Sports Center.

While the Crows ended the contest with a four-goal cushion, it was by no means an easy victory. After opening up a 2-0 lead in the first, Performance Hockey rallied back with goals from Rian Lahar, Jacob Simard and Felix-Antoine Parenteau to take over the game’s lead.

New England was undeterred, netting another pair before the half’s end to take a 5-3 advantage into the intermission.

It was a 5-3 score that was repeated in the second to bring about the 10-6 victory for the Crows.

New England claimed their victory with a balanced attack that saw eight different goal scorers in their 10-goal attack. Jack Galanek (2G, 1A) led the way for the victors with three points to his credit. Justin Solovey (2G), Will Felicio (1G, 1A), Ethan Fredericks (1G, 1A), Clarence Beltz (1G, 1A) and Landan Resendes (2A) also all finished the contest with multiple entries on the scoresheet.

Simard’s first half goal was one of three in the game for the Performance Hockey forward, who also had an assist for a game-high four points.
