Foxborough, Mass. — EHG White raced out to a two-goal lead, but Carolana Selects Jr. answered with three consecutive goals to rally for a 3-2 victory Friday at Foxboro Rink 1.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS:
EHG White struck first midway through the opening period as Stephan DeGaray (#10) scored at 16:10 with an assist from Remon Cao (#11).
Just 17 seconds later, EHG White doubled its advantage when Alex Klonsky (#15) found the back of the net off a feed from Matthew Reburn (#16) to make it 2-0.
Carolana Selects Jr. quickly shifted the momentum before the first intermission. Logan Herzog (#23) cut the deficit to one at 16:40 with assists from Colin Daigler (#26) and Luc Zeigler-Najjar (#24). Herzog (#23) struck again at 21:07, once more finishing a play set up by Daigler (#26), to send the teams into the break tied at 2-2.
The comeback was completed in the second period when Ashton Ducini (#20) scored the game-winner at 13:25. Zeigler-Najjar (#24) and Nicholas Carver (#25) picked up the assists as Carolana Selects Jr. closed out the 3-2 victory.
