Foxborough, Mass. — Mobile Hockey (Alger) CO turned an early back-and-forth contest into a convincing 7-3 victory over FCA Hockey CO on Sunday to capture the Senior Chowder Cup College Open Division title.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS:
FCA Hockey CO struck early in the game when #20 scored off an assist from #14. Mobile Hockey (Alger) CO responded quickly as #7 tied the game before #18 converted a feed from #7 to put his team in front.
FCA Hockey CO evened the score on a power-play goal by #5 with assists from #20 and #8, but Mobile Hockey (Alger) CO regained the lead for good. #10 made it 3-2 before #20 finished a play set up by #14 and #18 to extend the advantage. #29 then scored off a feed from #10, giving Mobile Hockey (Alger) CO a 5-2 lead.
FCA Hockey CO pulled within two when #8 scored with assists from #5 and #20, but Mobile Hockey (Alger) CO answered once again. #14 scored off passes from #29 and #17 before #29 added the game’s final goal with assists from #7 and #12, sealing the 7-3 victory and the Senior Chowder Cup College Open Division title.
