Tier 1 Hockey Fights Back from Two Goals Down to Tie Boston Jr. Blues, 3-3

Braintree, Mass. — Tier 1 Hockey refused to let an early deficit decide the outcome, battling back from two goals down to earn a 3-3 draw with Boston Jr. Blues on Friday at Thayer Sports Center.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS:

Tier 1 Hockey struck first when Camden Lathrop (#20) scored at 2:28 off an assist from Cam Joinville (#24).

Boston Jr. Blues answered with three consecutive goals to seize control before the first intermission. Nolan O’Keefe (#14) tied the game at 13:20 with assists from Brayden Bowes (#16) and Frank Prall (#17) before Nick Tulipano (#11) gave Boston Jr. Blues a 2-1 lead at 13:51. O’Keefe (#14) added his second goal of the period at 16:10, once again set up by Bowes (#16), extending the advantage to 3-1.

Tier 1 Hockey chipped away late in the opening period as Joinville (#24) scored at 25:00 with assists from Manix Dupont (#10) and Carson Cunningham (#11) to make it a one-goal game heading into the break.

Just 3:59 into the second period, Lathrop (#20) scored his second goal of the afternoon to pull Tier 1 Hockey even at 3-3. Neither team could find another breakthrough over the remaining minutes as the teams settled for a draw.
