Foxborough, Mass. — RHD-DB capped off their Senior Chowder Cup run in dominant fashion, scoring three unanswered goals to defeat Springfield Jr. A, 3-0, and capture the Senior Chowder Cup Jr. A Division championship.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS:
RHD-DB wasted little time taking control as Xavier Martin (#17) opened the scoring off an assist from Félix-Antoine Pomerleau (#6).
The lead doubled later in the contest when Charles Broomfield (#14) finished a play set up by Adam Aubé (#3) and Pomerleau (#6), giving RHD-DB a two-goal cushion heading into the latter stages of the game.
Needing one more goal to put the championship out of reach, RHD-DB got exactly that when Élie Robert (#10) converted a feed from Jacob Hamel (#5) to make it 3-0.
With the lead in hand, RHD-DB kept Springfield Jr. A off the scoreboard the rest of the way, securing the victory and the Jr. A Division title.
