Quebec Prospects open with 7-4 win.

FOXBORO – As New England Pro Am Hockey’s 2019 Sr. Chowder Cup ramped up its first day of preliminary round play, the Quebec Prospects got off to a strong start by posting a 7-4 victory over CD Brockville on Thursday at the Foxboro Sports Center.

The contest was tight through one half as both sides put up a trio of goals. It was in the second half that a distinction was made.

Two for Massimo Pietroniro and one each for Brandon Sacchetti and Kale McCallum put four on the board for the Quebec Prospects as they coasted to their victory. Pietroniro put up three points (2G, 1A) to lead the contest in scoring.

Goaltenders Sacha Gaumond and Jeremy Doucet split the duties in net to secure the win.
