ATTLEBORO – A contest of equals took place at the New England Sports Village on Thursday afternoon when Atlantic Coast HC (Purple) and the Yetis faced off. The College Open game resulted in 4-4 tie at the 2024 Chowder Cup.
Not just the final score, but the scoring of each half equaled out in the contest. The 4-4 final breaking down into two 2-2 halves.
The first half saw Atlantic Coast going up 2-0 on goals from Luke Pacholski and Darrin Schnoop, followed by the Yetis tying the score before the break on goals from Ryan Hicks and Giovanni Ferrucci.
Hicks scored again in the second half where things ping-ponged back-and-forth. The Yetis twice taking a one-goal lead, Atlantic Coast twice tying it for the 4-4 final.
Only Hicks had multiple goals in the contest, while Schnoop had an assist to go with his first half score to finish as the only multipoint scorer for Atlantic Coast.
