WALPOLE – The Boston Jr. Blues Young Guns fired early and fired often on Friday afternoon at Cadillac Arena. They defeat Prestige Hockey Placement (Green) 8-3 on Day 2 of the 40th annual Chowder Cup.
Before the game was even three minutes old, Jack Daly had started the offensive onslaught for the Blues. It kicked off a run that saw them amass a 3-1 lead in the first half.
Daly started the scoring in the first and then closed it out in the second, the final of five goals in the frame for Boston en route to their lopsided victory.
Six different Young Guns were credited with multiple points in the contest. Jack Fitzpatrick and Cole Sabourin led the game in scoring with three-point showings, each with a goal and two assists. Daly (2G), Aiden Ferreira (2G), Giacomo Caliri (2G) and Caleb Romph (2A) each were credited with a pair of points.
Massimo Pannetta, Nolan Macmillian and Noah Green were credited as the goal scorers for Prestige.
