FOXBORO – Perfectly balanced as all things should be was the Friday afternoon, Elite division matchup between Roc City Elite and Little Rhody/DMV at the 2023 Chowder Cup. Each side went for two in each of the game’s two halves resulting in a 4-4 final score.
Twos were the theme of the game as the two sides traded two goal runs in the two frames. In the first, it was Louie Marcellino and Owen Leahy scoring for Little Rhody, before Roc City got goals from Will Reardon and Jett Otwell to knot things at 2-2 heading in to the half.
Out of the break, Roc City notched the first pair for their two-goal lead in the contest. Andrew DellaDonna and Phil Feinberg getting the goals.
Little Rhody came back to tie it as Lucas Carfi made it 4-3, and then was joined on the scoresheet by Jayson Alegria, who brought things to their 4-4 final.
