Foxborough, Mass. — FCA Hockey CO scored in the early stages of the game and added a late insurance goal to defeat Mole HC Chill CO, 2-0, on Sunday in Senior Chowder Cup playoff action.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS:
FCA Hockey CO grabbed the lead when Zeke Kluegg (#20) scored with assists from Preston Handy (#5) and Ryland Hathe (#14), giving his team an early advantage.
Mole HC Chill CO continued to battle throughout the contest, but FCA Hockey CO maintained its defensive pressure and prevented the equalizer. The one-goal margin remained intact for much of the game as both teams looked for the next breakthrough.
Late in the contest, Handy (#5) extended the lead with a power-play goal, giving FCA Hockey CO a two-goal cushion.
FCA Hockey CO kept Mole HC Chill CO off the scoresheet the rest of the way to secure the 2-0 playoff victory.
