CANTON – It was a 4-4 draw between Rapid Hockey Development and MOLE HC Wolves when the two Jr. A Division clubs met on Saturday morning at the Canton Ice House.
The game ended in a tie, though each team won a half. MOLE claimed the first. Goals from Luke Marchant and Maxwell Garrett coming 34 seconds apart near the middle of the frame. Yaro Danylchenko was credited with Rapid’s first half tally, leaving MOLE with a 2-1 lead at the intermission.
In the second, it was Rapid’s turn as they rallied for the split decision. They struck three times in the latter frame to MOLE’s twice to garner the 4-4 tie.
Marchant and Rapid’s Zachary Berg were credited with leading the contest in scoring, each credited with a goal and an assist.
