CANTON – West Coast Elite kept their quest towards the Sr. Chowder Cup’s playoff round going as they took it to the New England Ducks in a 6-1 win on Saturday morning at the Canton Ice House.
Three goals in the first helped pace the victory for West Coast. Owen Gruener, Ben Wilcoxson and Ryan Messenbrink each credited with one of the scores.
While the Ducks did get on the board in the second – a Zach Fox score at 19:02 – there were another three to be scored by West Coast. Three different goal scorers coming through: Caden Surchik, Piercon Zittel and Kaden Pareja.
Netminder Zach Follo surrendered just one while posting his second victory of the tournament.
