Vipers blank Northern NE Selects.

FOXBORO – It was a strong start to their Jr. A division slate at the 2022 Sr. Chowder Cup for the Vipers. They downed the Northern NE Selects 7-0 on Thursday at the Foxboro Sports Center.

It was a strong start to their tournament and strong start to their first game as the Vipers amassed a 3-0 cushion for themselves in the game’s opening half. Kurtis Morin, Kyle Gilbert and Francis Hamline each credited with a goal in the frame.

Though those three first half tallies would have been enough, the Vipers improved upon it in the second, putting in four more scores for the 7-0 victory. Hayden Bullock twice and then a goal each from Luke Rhoss and Nolan Matthews accounted for the second half scoring.

Goaltender William Billequet was credited with his first shutout of the tournament.
