WALPOLE – It was a strong start to Day 2 of the 2024 Chowder Cup for Team Ohio. They defeated Edinger’s Edge 7-0 on Friday morning at Cadillac Arena.
Ohio’s offense took a bit to get going, but once Kellen Eisenaugle broke the scoring seal 11 minutes into the contest, they became a force that was difficult to stop.
Twice more Ohio scored in the first and then four times in the second to close out the 7-0 victory. Their seven goals coming from six different goal scorers, Sam Robinson leading the way with a pair.
Colson Edwards, Adam Ruyf and Carter Rosala also had multipoint games for Team Ohio, each with a goal and an assist.
Goaltender Dominck Filizetti anchored Ohio’s defensive effort, credited with the shutout in net.
