Canton, Mass. — Trailing by three goals after the opening period, Stretch Pass Advising delivered an explosive response, scoring seven times in the second period to rally past Rapid Hockey Development, 7-4, on Saturday at Canton Ice House.

Rapid Hockey Development came out flying in the opening period. Alessandro Golemme (#22) opened the scoring at 2:49 before Mario Lapenna (#4) added another at 20:38 with an assist from Alex Gervasi (#93). Less than a minute later, Connor Cook (#36) pushed the lead to 3-0 at 21:33.
Stretch Pass Advising wasted little time shifting the momentum in the second period. Grant Laird (#2) scored just 55 seconds into the frame with assists from Antonio Giacalone (#8) and Zac Staelgraeve (#14) before Braden Hillebrand (#16) made it a one-goal game at 1:58, assisted by Nathan Ligi (#10) and Drew Murphy (#4).
The comeback continued when Brian Rittle (#5) scored a shorthanded goal at 12:13 with assists from Wyatt Emmett (#13) and JD Lewis (#3) to give Stretch Pass Advising its first lead of the game.
Rapid Hockey Development briefly stopped the run as Gervasi (#93) scored at 15:46 with an assist from Julius Mollica (#96) to tie the game at 4-4.
Stretch Pass Advising answered immediately and never looked back. Bryce Fletemier (#12) restored the lead at 21:46 off an assist from Wyatt Church (#7). Will Schley (#18) extended the advantage at 22:41 with assists from Staelgraeve (#14) and Giacalone (#8) before Ligi (#10) capped the scoring with a goal at 23:41, assisted by Hillebrand (#16), sealing the 7-4 victory.
