Walpole, Mass. — Springfield Jr. scored early and made the goal stand, defeating Coast Elite (Blue), 1-0, on Sunday in Senior Chowder Cup playoff action.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS:
Springfield Jr. took the lead early when Cole Davis (#15) scored off assists from Jack Rodman (#7) and Adriano Lisio (#4).
Coast Elite (Blue) looked for an equalizer throughout the remainder of the contest, but Springfield Jr. continued to protect its one-goal advantage. Both teams generated scoring opportunities, though neither was able to add to the scoresheet.
The lone goal ultimately proved to be the difference as Springfield Jr. secured the 1-0 playoff victory.
