Foxborough, Mass. — Reider Hockey CO battled back from a two-goal deficit to earn a 3-3 draw against Between The Bucket Pink on Thursday afternoon at Foxboro Rink 1 in Senior Chowder Cup action.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS:
Between The Bucket Pink took control early, scoring a pair of first-period goals. Aidan Connor (#44) opened the scoring on the power play at 1:30 off an assist from Jake Falevich (#18) before Timothy Riche (#35) doubled the lead at 9:23 with help from Connor (#44).
Reider Hockey CO answered before the first intermission when Hayden Cook (#44) found the back of the net at 13:37, cutting the deficit to 2-1 heading into the second period.
Between The Bucket Pink restored its two-goal advantage midway through the second when Jack Ray (#77) converted a power-play opportunity with assists from Rory McNally (#14) and Gavin Francis (#87).
Reider Hockey CO refused to fold, rallying with two late goals to erase the deficit. Jadon McNamee (#26) scored at 23:41 off passes from Carter Bridge (#23) and Luke Kenney (#91) before Bridge (#23) netted the equalizer just 46 seconds later, finishing a play set up by Merick Meachem (#92) and Logan Jenkins (#17) to secure the 3-3 draw.
