Massachusetts eases travel restrictions as NEPAHL prepares for 2021.

On March 18 it was announced Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker was easing travel restrictions to the Commonwealth as COVID-19 metrics improve. An executive order was signed moving the state to the next phase of re-opening and shifting to a “travel advisory.”

With the new travel guidelines, visitors arriving in the state and residents returning after more than 24 hours away are “advised” to quarantine for 10 days or produce the results of a negative COVID test. The advisory does not apply to anyone fully vaccinated against COVID-19, those returning to Massachusetts after being away less than 24 hours and travelers who have a negative test within three days of their arrival.

THE NEPAHL’s first tournament of the year will be the Pre-Draft Showcase June 11-13. The yearly Chowder Cup tournaments are set to be played in July.
