Canton, Mass. — Tier 1 Hockey carried a two-goal lead into the second period, but Pinnacle Hockey answered with three goals in less than 14 minutes before settling for a 3-3 draw Friday at Canton Ice House.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS:
Tier 1 Hockey controlled the opening period, jumping in front on goals from Cody Bailow (#3) at 5:58 and Camden Lathrop (#20) at 11:52. Chase Walter (#5) picked up the assist on Bailow’s goal, while Manix Dupont (#10) set up Lathrop to give Tier 1 Hockey a 2-0 advantage heading into the intermission.
Pinnacle Hockey wasted little time getting back into the game after the break. Michael Jones (#17) put Pinnacle on the board just 2:43 into the second period off a feed from Charlie Ness (#18), but Tier 1 Hockey answered less than six minutes later when Leon Martel (#23) restored the two-goal cushion at 8:27.
The momentum shifted for good over the final half of the period. Luke Ryan (#24) scored at 11:20 with an assist from Jaxon Hoey (#81) before Max Sullivan (#92) found the back of the net at 16:30 to complete the comeback and secure a 3-3 tie for Pinnacle Hockey.
