Canton, Mass. — Jr. Eagles Selects seized control from the opening minutes and never gave Michigan Legacy an opportunity to climb back into the game, skating away with a 4-0 victory on Friday at Canton Ice House.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS:
Jr. Eagles Selects wasted little time taking the lead as Paxton Rohde (#17) scored just 2:22 into the contest. The offense continued to click throughout the opening period, with Niko McLeod (#24) doubling the advantage at 9:42 before Evan Ambrose (#13) added another at 18:08 to send Jr. Eagles Selects into the intermission with a commanding 3-0 lead.
Michigan Legacy looked to regroup after the break, but Rohde (#17) added his second goal of the afternoon at 5:28 of the second period to extend the lead to 4-0. That proved to be the final goal of the game as Jr. Eagles Selects completed the shutout victory.
