ATTLEBORO – It was threes aside for QJHA and Team Real Speed in their College Open matchup on Friday morning at the New England Sports Village, the two sides skating to a 3-3 tie.
It went back-and-forth throughout the contest, neither side letting their foe get more than a goal ahead. Alexis Tapp opened the scoring for QJHA in the first, before Brady Plaza tied it for Real Speed late in the frame.
In the second, it was Real Speed taking the lead on a Tyson Scanlon goal. QJHA answered, before Real Speed took another lead at 3-2 near the second half’s midpoint. That lead did not last long, however, as Justin Blackburn scored just over a minute later, bringing QJHA back to even and the game to its 3-3 final.
