Hollydell quells EHA, 6-3.

FOXBORO – The Hollydell Rebels claimed their first win of the 2024 Chowder Cup on Friday afternoon. They defeated EHA 6-3 at the Foxboro Sports Center.

Hollydell’s offense hit hard from the start, Sheldon Wilson scoring just minutes in to kick off an assault that saw the Rebels take a 4-2 advantage into the halftime break.

Defenses tightened in the second, Rebel netminder Logan Herguth and EHA counterpart Alessandro Capano settling in after the offensive first to keep the score at 4-2 until late in the game.

With time winding down, Cole Warren scored his second of the game to decrease EHA’s deficit to one, but Hollydell did not faulter. Dante Vassallo netted his second of the game and Neil Pretorius his first to give the Rebels space on the scoreboard and close out the 6-3 victory.

Both Vassallo and Warren had an assist to go with their two goals for a game-high three points each.
