FOXBORO – It was threes across the board when the Quebec Prospects and GBL Bruins met in College Open play on the opening day of the 2022 Sr. Chowder Cup.
The first half belonged to the Bruins as the goals scored by Magzhan Sagadiev and Jack DesRuisseaux trumped the lone tally in the frame scored by Quebec’s Tristan Poor. GBL went to the break leading 2-1.
Quebec made their push in the second half, flipping the score from the first and taking the frame. Remi Dionne and Mathieu Fillion scored for Quebec in the second, while the Bruins got one from James Hooley to round out the game’s 3-3 final.
