FOXBORO – It was a draw to start the 2024 Chowder Cup for both the Quebec Prospects and US Express Elite (Grey). The two sides skated to a 5-5 decision in Elite division play on Thursday evening at the Foxboro Sports Center.
The teams arrived at the 5-5 final by each side winning a half by a 3-2 margin. In the first it was the Express who were victorious. Quebec then took the second.
Balance was the theme of the game. Not just in the final score, but in the scoring itself as each of the game’s 10 goals was scored by a different player. US’ Ocean Fancy finished as the game’s leading scorer with three assists in the contest.
