Foxborough, Mass. — After surrendering the lead in the second period, EHG White responded with a late go-ahead goal to edge SS Kings (Connolly), 3-2, on Saturday.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS:
EHG White opened the scoring midway through the first period when Dilan Greben (#12) finished a play set up by Antonio Derosa (#8) and Josh Mosbacher (#14). The one-goal advantage carried into the first intermission.
SS Kings (Connolly) answered early in the second as Matt Spalla (#14) scored with assists from Bruce Ghostlaw (#10) and Michael Buscaino (#2). EHG White regained the lead a few minutes later when Derosa (#8) buried a feed from Alex Klonsky (#15).
The back-and-forth battle continued as Breighdan Simmons (#5) evened the score with assists from Buscaino (#2) and Kevin Greene (#4).
With less than two minutes remaining, Tony Santos (#2) broke the tie off passes from Carson Middleton (#17) and Greben (#12), lifting EHG White to a 3-2 victory.
