FOXBORO – Due North Bruins took home the win on Saturday at the Foxboro Sports Center when a late goal secured a 4-3 victory over the NH Knights (Gold) in Jr. A action on Day 3 of the 2025 Sr. Chowder Cup.
The entire game was no stranger to goals late in the frame. Ethan Ross gave the Knights the game’s first lead, but then the Bruins began to work their late period magic to take the lead into the break. Amar Beganovic had the game tied 1-1 with just two minutes left in the half. Then Hayden Rivers’ gave Due North its first lead with just 14-second remaining before the break.
In the second, the two sides traded shots back-and-forth, neither team able to take control of the game. Andrew Seamans had the game back to even at 2-2 with his goal for the Knights, but Evan White had the lead back in the hands of the Bruins just two minutes later.
When it got into crunch time, the Knights answered back. A Stephen Burke goal with 2:29 remaining once again had the game back to even at 3-3.
The drama was not over yet. Alex Loshiavo scored a goal that was registered with just one second remaining on the game clock to secure the 4-3 Due North win.
