Crowther, Quatieri lead charge in Pop Tops 7-0 win.

FOXBORO – The puns are almost too easy to make as Team Pop Tops dominated their Friday campaign against In 2 Hockey. They carded a 7-0, shutout victory at the Foxboro Sports Center.

Pop Tops got rolling early in the contest and left In 2 Hockey in search of answers all game long after Noah Bradley got the party started just 2:02 after the opening face-off with the game’s first goal.

It was three goals in the first and then bettered with four in the second for the Pop Tops offense. Leading the assault were Brandon Crowther (3G, 2A) and Connecticut College product Anthony Quatieri (2G, 3A). The two combined for ten points in the contest with five goals scored, each with the primary assist on the other’s goals.

Pop Tops forward Matt Pasic joined Crowther, Quatieri and Bradley on the list of goal scorers in the contest, while Andrew Rocha occupied the net for a shutout performance.
