Brahmas rush Eels, 4-2.

ATTLEBORO – It was a 4-2 win for the Boston Brahmas to open the 2024 Chowder Cup. They defeated the Eels (Gold) on Thursday evening at New England Sports Village.

The contest looked as though it might have been an easy victory for the Brahmas as Langston Coyle scored in the game’s opening moments to give Boston the early lead. Things settled in quickly, however. The Eels would go on to tie the game later in the first on a goal from Milo McGuire, and even take a 2-1 lead on a Nathaniel Wooldridge goal early in the second.

It was a lead that did not last long. Less than two minutes after Wooldridge’s goal, Coyle brought Boston back to even at 2-2.

A William Ruotolo goal broke the tie and put the Brahmas back in front at 8:59 of the second. Coyle then capped off the scoring and his hat trick with an empty net goal in the game’s final minute, bringing about the 4-2 decision.
