As the NEPAHL prepares to return, JDM Sports returns to Chowder Cup.

With restrictions from the COVID-19 Pandemic easing, New England Pro-Am Hockey prepares to enter their 2020 summer tournament schedule. Amongst the programs already committed to participating in this summer’s tournaments is JDM Sports, set to prepare in the program’s fourth year of NEPAHL hockey.

“The New England Pro-Am Hockey League and its Chowder Cup series has been a great way for us at JDM Sports Family Advising to showcase our players to a wide variety of junior, college and NHL programs,” JDM general manager Patrick Schafer said. “The tournament is well run and has a great track record of success.”

JDM’s family advisors act as the go to for their clients. Advisors work closely with parents and guardians to assist in fulfilling a player’s educational and hockey goals. They create individual packages for each player tailored to their specific goals and needs.

“People often ask when is the best time to hire a family advisor? I would say the best time to hire an advisor would be when the player wants to further their hockey career,” Schafer said, “but is not sure where to play, who to play for or what level to play at?

“All you need is good information to get to next level. That’s where we can help.”

With the program’s growth in recent years, JDM has produced 75 NCAA Division I commits over the past 50 months, as well as represented four Hobey Baker nominees. Players interested in JDM Sports can contact Patrick Schafer at pdschaferconsulting@gmail.com.
